"GP allowed me to experience several different cultures over the course of a few weeks and now I feel more comfortable about experiencing new things" Tyler

Tyler Turri

Turri (GP '10, Clemson University)

"Thank you so much for bringing the GP to Graz again. It is so exciting to have you here in Graz. We always learn so much from you. Not only for our own skills but also how to get people in contact with lacrosse. You can be really proud of your program and the things you achieve with it." Sigrid Neubinger (goalie for Graz Gladiators, Out of Bounds Tour ’10)

"Mary had such an amazing and wonderful experience these last three weeks.  Thank you for calling her and offering such a fabulous experience.  It was so great getting her back here, she looked so happy and full excitement.  Just wanted to say Thank you to you again." Marie Cuddihy (mother of Mary Cuddihy  GP ’10)

"The GP experience has introduced me to new things. It has taught me to be open minded and to be willing to take on new challenges." Kyle Reny (GP ’10, Marist College)

"Casey is having the time of her life! I couldn’t ask for more. Thank you!" Laurie Kelly (mother of Casey Kelly GP ’10)

"I am going to take a lot from the GP experience. I came into this knowing I was going to be playing with girls that were on a much higher level of skill than me but I enjoyed it. It was awesome to have a structured, fun travel plan that forced me out of my comfort zone. I never would have been able to experience anything like this." Sami Berardo (GP '10, Manhattanville)

"Over the course of the 2 months I was abroad I really dug deep down inside myself and discovered a lot about who I am and who I want to become.  I realized that I cannot control every aspect of my life and sometimes you just have to take that leap of faith and jump into the unknown.Thank you GP and staff so much for everything you have helped me to see and realize in my life. You (and the  GP program) had a very, very significant impact on my life and the person I am today. I began the journey I am on with you all and cannot thank you enough for being there for me... I cannot thank you enough

for the doors you showed me that I continue to find

day in and day out."

Maeghan Ross (GP '09, Emerson College)

"I 100% recommend the Global Players program to anyone looking to learn and experience something new and exciting.  Traveling to Europe made me realize that I really want to continue to discover new places, people, and cultures.  I think this experience was just the beginning of the travels I hope to participate in throughout my life, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start." MC Taylor (GP '09, Loyola College)

"This program opened my eyes to a completely different world and a whole new way of life. Coaching internationally and meeting new, amazing people (within the program and abroad) has changed my life." Casey Warner (GP '09, Virginia Tech)

"My buddy and I coined the term "carpe'in". We would wake up at 8am and go explore the cities we visited- Berlin, Prague, Graz [etc]. It is definitely a culture shock when you get there. The transporation, food, everything is different so you are out of your element. But you really do miss it when you return home and can't wait to go back. The Global Players program really does give you everything you could want in a program and more." Dan Hettler (GP '09, Fairfield University)

"For our team in Graz/Austria it is a great opportunity and especially great inspiration to practice with people which play(ed) at the highest level of lacrosse. Developing lacrosse in a city or a country from the roots is a demanding and hard job and being supported by the best makes it a lot easier and gives us the motivation to continue and improve our work.

The players and coaches of the Global Players program were all competent and pleasant people not only on the field but also beside it. Especially your clinic with the school kids was really good and I think they enjoyed it and want to try out the sport.

We really look forward to hosting you guys again in 2010!" Georg Teichtmeister (Graz Gladiators, Austria)

"I was surprised that my new team mates [Global Players] were behaving to me as I was one of them. After the game I had spoke with Ryan Andrews who told me ideas which could be helpful to my trainings. On my home team we do not have any specialist trainer for goalies so I am happy for any good advice which could help me to improve. You can say that it was just one day, but I will remember that day with pleasure and I hope that I meet them again." Stan El Halem (Tricksters' Goalie, Bratislava)
