dormsWhile studying in Prague, students will be living in the residential neighborhood of Holesovice, in a recently renovated early 20th Century building, close to public transportation. Travel time from the dorms to the classroom is about 20 minutes using public transportation. There is a large park across the street and numerous restaurants, cafes, and pubs nearby. All rooms have 24/7 access to Internet if you bring your own laptop, register, and pay a reasonable monthly fee.

The residence hall is clean and spacious but it is not a five star hotel. The   rooms have a comfortable bed, a desk, and a wardrobe for hanging clothes for each student. It comes with one set of linens which you can exchange bi-weekly or wash them in the laundry facility provided in the building. You must bring your own towels. Irons, desk lamps and fans can be checked out. Some rooms are equipped with full bathroom facilities and others have shared facilities. You will be rooming with another participant of the same gender in double or triple rooms. Yes, you can pick your roommate if you want to, but we encourage you to broaden your horizons and room with another ESAC student (not on the team). There are other students from different programs also living in the hall so noise levels  must be kept within reason after 11:00p.m. Your accommodation has been arranged by the European Study Abroad Center in Prague

For students studying in Seville, Spain you will be accompanied by another student in a homestay for the duration of your studies. This is an absolutely amazing way to get to the know the language and culture while getting a feel for your host city. Homestay families are supportive and will help to ensure that your study abroad experience is a memorable one.

Once arriving on Europe's doorstep, student-athletes will check into their accommodation for their opening tournament- Seville students in Vienna and Prague students in Amsterdam. Both cities are a great way to kick off your trip and your accommodation will provide you with the opportunity to learn about your fellow Global Players.

Navigating modern European cities is fun, exciting, and integral to your orientation in the host culture. For this reason, we will live like the locals in Vienna, Amsterdam and Berlin using public transport during the tournaments. Travel tickets will be included for Prague. This is one of the best ways to check-out the social fabric of your host culture and use simple, common phrases in the target language. Public transport is clean and cheap, but of course you must take normal safety precautions.

*Independent travel is not covered by Global Players.

To maximize cultural immersion, homestays with international club players will be arranged throughout the 2011 Out of Bounds tour.
