top 5 FAQS
#1 "Money is an issue for my family this year. How can I afford this program?"

*To find your home university’s cost per credit hour, try checking here.
#2 "I've never contacted the study abroad office before. Will my credits transfer?"
A GP staff member will assist you in the pre-departure process, including credit transfer, along with your academic adviser and the study abroad office at your university. We will provide you with information such as course descriptions and syllabi to assist in this process, which is not difficult but does take time. We encourage students to apply as early as possible. Within 90 days after completion of the program, you will receive an official transcript for the purpose of credit transfer. Both the University of Economics and Pablo de Olavide University are accredited by their respective country's Ministry of Education and the European Union. If you follow the necessary steps in cooperation with your home university, credit transfer should not be an issue. See preparation for the necessary steps.
#1 "Money is an issue for my family this year. How can I afford this program?"
We understand exactly how you feel. Other families have felt the same way, especially in this economy. But
what they've found is that when they compare Global Players' 4-in-1
Learn/Play/Travel/Serve program to any other study abroad offer, it's
an unbeatable value. Earning eight (8) credits alone can sometimes cost
over $8,000 at your home university.* Additional expenses are kept to a minimum ; your tuition, accommodation, transportation, tournament fees,
and some meals are all built into the program fee. Although your flight
is not included, student fares are reaching all-time lows so apply soon
to take advantage of the best deals. The benefits of this character
developing, resume-building international experience greatly outweigh
the cost. Payment plans are available depending on when we receive your
application. Please email the International Director for more details. Where there's a will,
there's a way. (See FAQ #4) For more information on funding your trip see resources.

#3 "I am a graduating senior so I don't need more credits. Do you offer Internships or other options?"
Yes! If you are not interested in the coursework but would still like to travel, play, and coach the International Coaching Program internship is for you. Our academic partner ESAC also offers internship placement with businesses and organizations in Prague. Visit 'intern abroad' on the homepage for more details and to apply online today. Please keep in mind that internships are very selective.
#4 "I usually get a job in the summer. Will I have time to do anything else this summer, like work?"
Depending on the program, they run from early/mid June to late July/beginning of August and most colleges and universities get out in the middle of May, which gives you nearly a month to spend time with friends and family before coming to Europe. The same is true for your time available after the program ends. If you want to get a well-paying, fun, flexible job, be creative. For example, you could become a referee. Refs are very flexible, well-paid, and you can do it easily all year round! You can even learn the official rules of other sports you love and ref those games too. If you really want to have the experience of a lifetime with Global Players, and finances are tight for you and your family, this is a great way to make up the difference.
#5 "I'm ready to go! What is my next step?"
